BON IVER

Bon Iver's self titled album is my favourite album ever, like I can listen to it on repeat and it makes me super happy and relaxed and I have no bad memories linked to any of the songs at all.
It reminds me of my Dad, and road trips because it was what we listened to all of last Autumn when we'd be in the car together, and specifically when we were driving to all my University interviews.
When they played the Apollo in October 2011, I missed out on getting tickets (they sold out super fast, I'm not sure why I didn't get one) but they've been #1 on my 'still to see' list since they released their Blood Bank EP. I found out that they were headlining Lattitude, and I begged everyone to come with me, even just for the day, but I realised it would feel really wrong seeing him/them without my Dad.
My Dad is my favourite person in the entire world, we're more like friends and I love him more than I could ever explain.

Anyway, the point of this post is that I bought Bon Iver tickets for me and my Dad this morning, and I've not been this excited for a show (okay, except Paramore at Leeds Fest) in a long long time.

BOYCE AVENUE/TYLER HILTON

Okay, One Tree Hill is my favourite programme ever (ever ever ever!). So, when I found out that Tyler Hilton (Chris Keller) was supporting Boyce Avenue (basically a 'covers' band who I only heard out because they did a really good cover of KP's 'Teenage Dream') I was super excited!
Luckily as I've finished college, I had time to go and wait and meet him. Waiting for 3 hours was so worth is as he is so so so lovely, and he looked so attractive in his leathers.
Also, if you haven't already, I'd strongly recommend listening to his album 'Forget The Storm' as his voice is incredible.

♡1 me & Tyler Hilton, ♡2 my OTH season 2 (as that was the first series he starred in) signed insert, ♡3 Academy stage times & ♡4 a shot of Tyler on stage.

End of exams (fiiiiinally!)

After our last exam (CHEM5), me and Alice both decided that we needed an evening of Nando's and getting thoroughly drunk so we could forgot how horrific the exam was and how it kind of scrapped our chances of getting into University.
I won tickets to see Guillemots at Hard Rock Cafe in Manchester so we went there first as it was rude not to after the emails from Fyfe. I was carrying 2 litres of Strongbow around soI ended up ridiculously drunk and wandering around Manchester at 1am as Factory wasn't open for some reason and then in 42's which is awful, but whatever, Alice is my favourite.
Here are some photos from the day, L-R:
01 waiting for Alice, 0our Nando's trip, 03 Alice's favourite song so of course she had to park in space 212,
04 me & Alice on the bus, 05 the very heavy bottle I was carrying around, 0Guillemots, 0me & Alice in 42's where you can see what I wore at night  (these), and 08/09 some drunken selfies.

18th

2 weeks ago, it was finally my 18th (I've been waiting to use my own ID for a good 18 months now) and due to it falling in the midst of my final A-Level exams, I just had a quiet day and then went for a meal at Hard Rock Cafe Manchesterwith Alice and my parents.
I was royally spoilt including over £700 to go towards my MacBook, a 4 day trip to Barcelona in July, my iPhone 4S and an elephant charm for my Thomas Sabo bracelet.
Here are some pictures from throughout the day (L-R).
01. my balloons in the living room. 0some of my presents. 0my package off Emma. 04 my Belle birthday cake. 05 me before I left. 0me and Alice at Hard Rock. 0our cocktails (Riders On The Storm (named after The Doors' song), Purple Haze (named after Jimi Hendrix's song)), 0bacon cheese burger & 0my parents!
